Michael Motter, CPA (CFE & CGMA inactive) graduated in 1976 from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Business, majoring in accounting. Mike earned his Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) in 2002 and the Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA) in 2014, He earned two master’s degrees in theology from Bethel University in 2010 and graduated from the FBI Citizens Academy in 2015.

Mike spent twenty-seven years in public accounting with a large regional accounting firm in roles as audit and tax partner, partner in charge of strategic planning, partner in charge of consulting services, partner in charge of technology planning, as local office managing partner, regional office managing partner, and member of the executive committee. He left public accounting in 2003 to take an equity and management position in a manufacturing turnaround opportunity and spent eighteen years as co-owner and CFO before leaving in 2021 to pursue other entrepreneurial opportunities. Mike is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society.
