Graduating from Purdue with a focus on Pathobiology, and having a special interest in Organic Chemistry and Physiology from the University of Connecticut, he now owns Indian Creek Veterinary Hospital. This facility supports Topikos by offering laboratories, imaging, and treatment facilities for animal testing, specializing in medical isotopes, surgical joint replacements, and research on platelet-rich plasma for joint inflammation.

Beyond veterinary medicine, Cawood is a pioneer in green technology. He is the founder and President of OmniSource Electronics Recycling, LLC, an eco-friendly venture with OmniSource, LLC. Demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit, he previously established and sold a company that innovatively converted chicken fat into airplane biofuel, showcasing his commitment to sustainable solutions.
